WWW Home Page Instructions
To make a WWW home page for yourself at STARLab, you will need to create
a specially formatted file called Welcome.html and place
it in a subdirectory of your nova home directory called
public_html. This file should be written in the
Hypertext Markup Language, or HTML. A simple
example of such a file should be enough to get you started. Once you
do this, send mail to
webmaster to get your name added to the Students page.
If you are using Mosaic to view this document or the simple example, you
can use the View Source command in the
File menu to see the HTML source used to generate what
you are seeing. You can also use the Save As command
to save the HTML source code to a local file. Similarly, in Netscape
you can use the Document Source command in the
View menu.
